CHERISH was officially launched on 23 March 2017 at Aberystwyth University and the Irish Lights in Dún Laoghaire. In Aberystwyth welcomes were given by Dr Eurwyn Wiliam, chairman of the Royal Commission and Professor John Grattan, acting VC of Aberystwyth University, with an overview of CHERISH by Dr Sarah Davies, Dr Toby Driver and Louise Barker. In Ireland The CHERISH Project was officially launched by Minister of State Seán Kyne.
